Fees
Lessons are £60 per hour and a normal lesson lasts for 1.5 hours.
How many lessons?
Our average pupil requires 15/16 lessons which is 49% less than the national average!
You will develop a safe and confident approach to driving in a variety of situations. If you already have previous experience we will start where you left off. At the end of the course you will be fully prepared for the DVSA Practical Test, which is normally taken in the driving school car. We will arrange a test booking towards the end of the course.
LESSONS
On average most clients require 15/16 lessons (22.5/24 hours) prior to taking their first test. According to the DVSA, the national average is 47 hours so approximately a 50% reduction in ADI training time! Refresher lessons are offered on a 1.5 hour basis.
VEHICLE
Your training, initially will be carried out in a professionally fitted, dual controlled car - normally a Skoda Yeti - but towards the end of your training, you could be trained in your own vehicle.
FEES
A normal 1.5 hour lesson is £60/per hour which means, on average, a course of lessons will cost around £960 as opposed to a national average of over £1280 (based on a lesson fee of £28 per hour) - a 25% reduction on the national average!
TESTS
Following successful completion of your theory test, generally, your practical test will be booked for Guildford, Chichester, Farnborough or Portsmouth; however, ultimately, the test centre with the most appropriate availability will be selected. Tests have previously been conducted in Lancing, Basingstoke, Winchester, Crawley, Chertsey, Lee-on-Solent and Reading.
DURATION
Most people learning to drive are new drivers. Generally, a normal lesson duration is 1.5 hours although later in the learning programme, some lessons can last 3 hours (with a short break after 1.5 hours to ‘reset’) - any time longer than 3 hours is counter productive.
